This week, we'll be discussing Hindi cinema's take on Muslims in relation to ideas of the nation. We will do so by focusing on the 1994 film Roja (originally released in Tamil, subsequently released in Hindi). You will have a prompt for Thursday, not Tuesday, but do post discussion questions. In particular, think about the questions that these readings raise for you and how they might apply to the movie.
